Directions

Travelling northbound on the Motorway take Exit 30 and follow signs for Sowton Industrial Estate and the Exeter Services. At the second roundabout, take the exit marked Sowton Industrial Estate. You are now on Moor Lane . Take the second left onto Kestrel Way , at the ‘T’ junction turn right onto Bittern Road and take the last exit on the right (opposite Bookers Cash and Carry on your left). Great Moor House is the building on the left-hand side.

Travelling southbound on the Motorway take Exit 29 and follow the signs for Park and Ride, Exeter . When you reach Moor Lane roundabout take the first exit along Moor Lane , then the first turning right onto Kestrel Way and at the ‘T’ junction turn right onto Bittern Road . Take the last exit on the right (opposite Bookers Cash and Carry on your left). Great Moor House is on the left- hand side

Travelling on the A30 from Honiton follow the signs for Sowton Park and Ride for Exeter . When you reach Moor Lane roundabout take the first exit onto Moor Lane , then take the first right onto Kestrel Way and at the ‘T’ junction turn right onto Bittern Road . When approaching from the city, take the Honiton Road and shortly after passing the Rover garage on your right, you will come to a roundabout. Take the third exit off, onto Sowton Industrial Estate. You are now on Moor Lane , take the first turning on your right, onto Kestrel Way and at the ‘T’ junction turn right into Bittern Road . Take the last exit on the right, (opposite Bookers Cash and Carry on your left). Great Moor House is on the left-hand side.

Visitors to Great Moor House will notice that the car parks have been marked into specific areas. Please park in the parking spaces marked for visitors at the front of the building, and not in the area allocated to members of the public visiting the Devon Records Office.  Do not park on the main access road as whlle clamping is in operation, or the Park and Ride car park at the rear of the building

In line with county policy, and to avoid traffic congestion on the Sowton Industrial Estate, please consider the possibility of car sharing with colleagues or with schools in the same area.

By Bus

    The PR2 Stagecoach Park and Ride service from Exeter City centre, Paris Street, which runs every 12 minutes and takes you directly to the Honiton Road Park and Ride Car Park at the rear of Great Moor House. Walk along the footpath to the right of Great Moor House. Pass two large water tanks, turn left and follow the slope up to the main entrance.The H1 Stagecoach service from Exeter City centre from Central Train Station, Queen Street, High St and Sidwell Street. Get off at the Barn Owl pub, cross the road into the Honiton Road Park & Ride site and follow the directions as above.

    The 56 Stagecoach service from St Davids Railway Station via the Bus Station to Honiton Road operates every hour. Get off at the Barn Owl Pub, cross the road into the Hointon Road Park & Ride and follows directions as above.
